Exhibiting the following products, services and/or technologies:
MAVS-3 Acoustic 3-D Current Meter and MWAVES software for Directional Wave and Tide Measurements

Company background:
NOBSKA Development Corp. began business in 1997 in Woods Hole, MA by Dr. Albert (Sandy) J. Williams III. NOBSKA manufactures the MAVS acoustic 3-D differential travel-time current meter and related velocity measuring instruments. With offices in Massachusetts and Florida and agents in Asia and Europe, Nobska can advise about moorings, fixed platforms, and vehicle mounted applications and provide demonstration units and instructions for use of MAVS in each of these applications. MAVS has an unequalled sensitivity and low noise level with single ping resolution of 0.1 cm/s velocity in three dimensions with rms noise below 0.04 cm/s. Solid state compass and tilt sensing permits mounting in any orientation with earth coordinate corrected velocities, averaged or burst sampled at frequencies as high as 20 Hz or durations as long as one year. Internal logging on compact flash memory and battery operation is standard. Real time applications are also supported with RS232 connections for short runs or RS485 connections for long runs. Physical dimensions of the sampling volume are within a 10 cm diameter by 8 cm tall cylinder. The measurement is insensitive to bubbles, sediment in suspension, or to scatterer-free clear water based upon acoustic transmission rather than scattering. MAVS current meters can be equipped with pressure, conductivity, and optical scattering sensors in addition to the standard temperature sensor and the housing is available in depth ratings of 2000 meters or 6000 meters with optional Titanium material. Nobska Development is an open company with freely reported technological experiences and developments. As an employee owned company and with Scientists/Engineers as the principal owners, NOBSKA is driven to support the needs of their clients and enjoy nothing more than a discussion of what these needs may be.
