Updated Distiller Job Options for Use with FastLane
Please check your Distiller job options for FastLane. If you have the updated options, you will see "Compatibility: Acrobat 4.0 (PDF 1.3)"
If you see Acrobat 3.0 (PDF 1.2), then you need to update your job options.
The updated file needs to be placed on your local hard drive in the subdirectory of your distiller application called, "Settings."
The standard directory path to use is:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Adobe PDF\Settings
or
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 8.0\Acrobat\Settings
Your may download the updated Fastlane job options from this site by Right clicking on this link and choosing 'Save Link Target As' or you may get the file off the Novell Y: drive from the location pictured below:
Y:\u\cis\_pcsupport\desktop\proplog\FastLane.joboptions
